Career Plus: Introduction and Take Indigo
Welcome to Indigo Career Plus, a course dedicated to developing your self-awareness and career readiness. You are going to learn more about how to describe yourself, what motivates you, and what your strengths are, so that you can maximize your potential in your career and your life. Your takeaway will be a Master Activation Plan, or a “MAP.” Your MAP will be a personalized webpage that keeps track of what you describe about yourself and saves notes on a career path that you will research.

Taking the Indigo Assessment
Indigo wants to help you discover your own unique behaviors, motivators, and skills. This starts with a survey. It is not a test; there are no right or wrong answers. Once you complete it, you will be emailed a report all about you!
You can use the information in your report when working in teams, applying for colleges/internships/jobs, and making choices about your future. The survey takes up to 45 minutes to complete and must be done in one sitting.

Remember
- There is no right or wrong answer – pick the answer that is true for you.
- Double check your email address when you enter it to ensure you receive your report.
- Be sure to read each section’s instructions. Make sure you order statements in the order the instructions say.
- On the last page, you should select “Save”. The report will be emailed to you.
You may encounter some terms you are unfamiliar with. Just because you have not heard of the term doesn’t mean that you don’t have an opinion on it (once you know what it means). It is your opinion that matters, not how big your vocabulary is. You can download a list of definitions by clicking here, or the button to the right. You can also use Google, or ask a teacher or another adult.

FAQ
If a you do not receive a report, you should NOT retake the assessment. Send an email to support@indigoproject.org with your full name, the name of your school/organization, and a request for the report to be resent.
